PAYMENT INFORMATION
We accept the following forms of payment:

 

Credit or Debit cards
Visa, Master Card, American Express. The transferring of your credit card information is safely handled by secure server. You will be charged in Euro, the equivalent in your local currency will be calculated directly by your bank.

 

Bank Wire Transfer
If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please contact us by email with the following details:
  • The name of the item you wish to purchase;
  • Your Name and Surname data;
  • The delivery address.
We will contact you later to send our bank details.

 

Paypal
After confirming the order and receiving email, you will be redirected to the PayPal login page to make the payment. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can register on the PayPal login page before completing your order. The amount on the Paypal account will be debited at the time of the order.

 

You can place your order online, by telephone, mail or whatsapp. The established payment terms are debit cards, credit cards, paypal or bank transfer.
 
DUTIES AND TAXES
For international Deliveries outside EU (outside the European Union), import duties for deliveries to all other countries are paid by our customers at delivery.
Please contact your local customs office to inquire about the duty rate.
Gigi Grinder is not responsible for any tax duties, taxes or additional handling charges imposed by any countries other than Italy.
 
Deliveries within the EU:
All deliveries to EU (European Union) are duty free and if the customer is a registered VAT company inside EU, NO VAT will be applied. No other duties is required.
 
TERMS OF SALE
YOU WILL BE CHARGED IN EURO, the equivalent in your local currency will be calculated by your bank.
Prices in our online shop are already ex VAT. 
Gigi Grinder is not responsible for any tax duties or taxes imposed by any countries other than Italy.
EU VAT FREE
Due to changes in European law from January 1st 1993, Value Added Tax (V.A.T.) can now be deducted from sales made to customers who are V.A.T. registered in their own countries
All prices quoted throughout this site are VAT excluded.
If you are VAT European registered company, you’ll not be charged VAT tax. Your credit card will be then charged without adding the European VAT.
Orders from European Union Countries customers who are V.A.T. registered must clearly show their V.A.T. number. Without a V.A.T. number, we cannot deduct V.A.T.
Also, all orders outside of the EU (European Union) qualify for VAT tax free status. This means that the final cost of your goods won't have the applicable Italy VAT Tax or your country of origin VAT added.
 
WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY
Products have 12 to 24 months factory warranty for customers within the European Union (depending if VAT registered company or Private customer) and 12 months warranty for customers outside European Union.
In the event any issues happen with your machine or grinder we urge you to contact us.
Manufacturer warranty usually does not include electrical parts, gasket and any other parts subject to normal weariness. More over the Manufacturer's warranty coverage will not be acknowledged in case of improper use or maintenance of the machine, not following the instructions, using the machine with no water in the boiler, and for lime deposit (in case of coffee machines).
With all our international customers even after the 12 months manufacturer warranty period we'll try our best to offer technical support and assistance.
Our assistance service will be provided only for products purchased on our site. 
Should any product(s) arrive damaged, malfunctioning, defective or missing it must be reported no later than 3 days after the delivery date shown on the shipment's tracking number. 
 
In any case the warranty will be void if customer open sealed screw-in parts of the machine or grinder to access the inside of machine or grinder for checking or self-repairing. Grinders and coffee machines should not be open by unauthorised persons, but only by technicians.
 
DATA PRIVACY
We use security techniques to adequately protect users sensitive data and information in order to avoid unauthorized access either inside or outside the company. Access to customer information is limited to persons who have a legitimate need to access customer information to complete transactions occurring on the website.
Pursuant to Chapter IV, art. 25, ch. 6 "Transfer of personal data to third countries" of Directive 95/46/EC, the data may be transferred to countries outside the EU or the European Economic Area which guarantee, in any case, an adequate level of protection of personal data. In any case, the treatment will take place according to the methods set out in this information and the provisions of the law.

Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using gigi-grinder.com.
Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by gigi-grinder.com is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for gigi-grinder.com to provide its services. In cases where gigi-grinder.com specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without consequences to the availability or the functioning of the Service.
Users who are uncertain about which Personal Data is mandatory are welcome to contact the Owner.
Any use of Cookies – or of other tracking tools – by gigi-grinder.com or by the owners of third-party services used by gigi-grinder.com serves the purpose of providing the Service required by the User, in addition to any other purposes described in the present document and in the Cookie Policy, if available.

Users are responsible for any third-party Personal Data obtained, published or shared through gigi-grinder.com and confirm that they have the third party's consent to provide the Data to the Owner.

Mode and place of processing the Data

The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.
The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Owner, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of gigi-grinder.com (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. In any case, the Owner will gladly help to clarify the specific legal basis that applies to the processing, and in particular whether the provision of Personal Data is a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract.

The Data is processed at the Owner's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located.

Depending on the User's location, data transfers may involve transferring the User's Data to a country other than their own. To find out more about the place of processing of such transferred Data, Users can check the section containing details about the processing of Personal Data.

Users are also entitled to learn about the legal basis of Data transfers to a country outside the European Union or to any international organization governed by public international law or set up by two or more countries, such as the UN, and about the security measures taken by the Owner to safeguard their Data.

If any such transfer takes place, Users can find out more by checking the relevant sections of this document or inquire with the Owner using the information provided in the contact section.

Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.

Therefore:

  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
  • Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Owner’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. Users may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner within the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Owner.

The Owner may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, the Owner may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.

Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.

The purposes of processing

The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its Service, comply with its legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect its rights and interests (or those of its Users or third parties), detect any malicious or fraudulent activity, as well as the following: Hosting and backend infrastructure, Handling payments, Analytics, Displaying content from external platforms, SPAM protection, Tag Management, Contacting the User and Platform services and hosting.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
You have 12 hours from the time that you place the order to cancel it. If you wish to cancel the order after 12 hours have passed, please email us urgently with a formal request of cancellation and the reason of cancellation.
After your cancellation instructions (if within 12 hours) for items paid by credit or debit card, the payment will be void and you card will not be charged. For cancellations after 12 hours, refund will be issue and repaid within 30 days.
Should any product(s) arrive damaged, malfunctioning, defective or missing it must be reported no later than 3 days after the delivery date shown on the shipment's tracking number. 
Note: we will refuse every parcel returned without our authorization.
For parcels sent for repair from a country outside of the European Union, the customer must indicate on the customs declaration that the goods have been sent for repair so they do not have to write the purchase value new price of the goods.

COOKIE POLICY

This document informs Users about the technologies that help gigi-grinder.com to achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow the Owner to access and store information (for example by using a Cookie) or use resources (for example by running a script) on a User’s device as they interact with gigi-grinder.com.

COMPLAINTS
1. Gigi Grinder delivers Goods that are free of defects, be it physical or legal. Should the goods be found defective from the Customer, the Customer may file a complaint and demand that either:
– the price is proportionately reduced, a correction invoice is served; or
– the good is substituted with a non-defective counterpart; or 
– the pecuniary refund is effected and a correction invoice served.
2. In its relations with Gigi Grinder the Customer cannot take advantage of the statutory warranty as regards the Goods.
3. All complaints should be reported to us either by a dedicated Complaints module provide by us
4. Complaints will be addressed within 14 days. The Customer will be informed immediately regarding its complaint, either by phone or email.
5. Complaints can also be lodged with respect to the Services at info@gigi-grinder.com 
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content making up the Platform including, without limitation, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, data compilations, layout, underlying code, and software is the property of Gigi Grinder, its affiliates or relevant third parties. The Customer may not use the content otherwise than as part of the Platform and only for the purposes strictly connected with the use of Services or purchase of Goods.
The Customer will be directly and fully liable for unauthorized use or other abuse of the content or other IP rights owned or otherwise controlled or enjoyed by Gigi Grinder. 
Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the data stored or hosted at the request of the Customer in its Account or otherwise within the Platform remains the property and/or responsibility of the Customer, and the Customer will defend, indemnify and hold Gigi grinder. harmless from and against any and all claims, suits, and charges made, initiated or addressed on account of an alleged, proven or actual infringement of third-party’s rights.
 
DELIVERY 
Shipping costs can be calculated and add it to cost of products, or customer can choose to use and pay directly its own courrier or carrier.
Delivery time varies depending on the country of delivery.
Gigi Grinder is not responsible for any tax duties, taxes or additional handling charges imposed by customs for purchases outside the EU.
Import duties are paid by customers at delivery.
Please contact your local customs office to inquire about the duty rate.
 
FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party shall be held liable or responsible to the other party nor be deemed to have defaulted under or breached this Agreement for failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any obligation under this Agreement when such failure or delay is caused by or results from causes beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including but not limited to fire, floods, embargoes, war, acts of war (whether war is declared or not), insurrections, riots, civil commotions, strikes, lockouts or other labor disturbances, acts of God or acts, omissions or delays in acting by any governmental authority.
 
Provided, however, that the party so affected shall use reasonable commercial efforts to avoid or remove such causes of nonperformance, and shall continue performance hereunder with reasonable dispatch whenever such causes are removed. The parties shall mutually seek a resolution of the delay or the failure to perform as noted above.
